Pausing and resuming subscriptions (freezing)

What pausing does

• Billing stops: frozen days are appended to the cycle's end — the customer keeps every paid day.
• Messaging stops: no session reminders, invoices, or absence alerts while frozen.
• Slots free up: future sessions are removed from the teacher's calendar so another student can take them.

Resuming

“Resume” brings everything back: the renewal date shifts by exactly the frozen days, and the weekly schedule regenerates automatically — any slot that was booked by someone else meanwhile is skipped (never double-booked) so you rebook an alternative.

The freeze log

Every freeze episode is recorded (reason, duration, who did it) — visible on the subscription page for review and parent queries.
